A one-day training course accredited by the National Plant Operators Registration Scheme (NPORS) for individuals responsible for assisting in the manoeuvring and loading/unloading of vehicles within the workplace.
Course content
This training course is designed to provide information and practical experience to help employees and employers meet their legal requirements and reduce the risk of accidents when carrying out manoeuvres within the workplace. Conforming to and providing an overview of the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Health and Safety (Signs and Signals) Regulations 1996, the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 and the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998; delegates will gain an understanding of safety signs and signals in order to carry out guidance of various vehicles.
Upon successful completion of the training course, delegates will be provided with a Parallel Training certificate as proof of qualification.
