Management of Asbestos in Buildings
A four-day course (P405) for individuals who are responsible for managing asbestos in a building or estate, but whom have no prior experience within the asbestos industry.
What to expect:
Management of Asbestos in Buildings provides practical knowledge and skills in asbestos management, including basic asbestos removal, and the audit of asbestos removal projects. The course covers a broad range of asbestos related matters, including:
- The nature of asbestos, its properties and health effects
- Asbestos in buildings
- Asbestos management plans and strategies
- The role of asbestos surveyors, contractors and analysts
The course is assed via a written theoretical examination and written practical examination. Candidates who successfully complete both examinations within a twelve-month period will be provided with a BOHS (P405) Proficiency Certificate for the Management of Asbestos in Buildings as proof of qualification.
